Becca Seago is the author and illustrator of the Doug & Gary Adventures series.

Inspired by the everyday antics of her own cats, Doug and Gary, Becca creates stories that celebrate curiosity, friendship, and the small moments that often become the biggest adventures. Every story is written from her own experiences and observations, bringing the personalities of her beloved pets to life through original storytelling.

With a professional background in technology and innovation, Becca combines her passion for storytelling with modern creative tools. The illustrations in the Doug & Gary Adventures series begin with photographs of her real cats and are carefully transformed into finished artwork through an artist-directed creative process using AI-assisted illustration techniques. Every image is guided by her vision to faithfully capture Doug and Gary's unique personalities and adventures.

When she's not writing, illustrating, or spending time with her furbabies, Becca enjoys exploring the beautiful landscapes of Central Oregon with her husband and finding inspiration in nature, family, and home.
